The newly renovated Dominican Church in Münster is now used as an art and event space and is home to Gerhard Richter's artwork "Two Grey Double Mirrors for a Pendulum." The diverse use of the space and its architecture required a multifunctional lighting concept.
Indirect light, generated by perimeter cove lighting and wall sconces in the arches, opens up the space and supports the architecture and the artwork. The indirect lighting is equipped with color-dynamic light sources to adapt the room's atmosphere depending on its use. Downlights, invisibly integrated into the vaults, provide sufficient reading light.
