Especially in the public and cultural sector, we support the refurbishment and modernisation of existing lighting installations. These are frequently listed, heritage-protected fixtures whose external appearance must be preserved. Through careful modernisation of the internal components and the conversion to contemporary LED technology, we retain the design character of the fixture while guiding it into a sustainable future.

A particular example of this is fixtures that we ourselves developed and manufactured more than 20 years ago, which we now restore and convert to LED technology. This kind of further development conserves resources, avoids unnecessary use of materials, and extends the fixtures' service life by many more years.

Converting from halogen to LED typically reduces energy consumption by 80 to 90 per cent, and extends the light source's service life from around 1,000–2,000 hours to up to 25,000–50,000 operating hours. For us, sustainability therefore doesn't mean doing without - it means responsible further development and the preservation of existing value.
