As part of the renovation of the parish church and in consultation with the monument authorities, the lighting concept was also adapted to modern requirements. The high and wide nave with its double gallery required high-performance lighting for both the painted ceiling and the seating areas. For this, we developed an Altea pendant light. It meets the technical requirements and, despite its size, its transparent design blends harmoniously into the baroque setting. A matching ceiling light was chosen for the gallery lighting.
The precious artworks, such as the wooden processional cross from the 13th century and the sandstone side altar with the 17th-century crucifixion relief, were subtly highlighted by strategically placed lighting. The side chapel received a 16-light ring chandelier with uplights and downlights, custom-fitted to the room's dimensions. The entire high altar can be backlit with changing colors, depending on the occasion, using discreetly placed RGB LED lighting systems.
